Christmas Countdown will countdown from whatever time you set. When you put Christmas Countdown into set mode, the time displayed by the binary lights will be the current month, day, hour and minute. The Day/Hour and Minute/Second lights flash in the following way to tell you which value you're setting:
Day/Hour | Minute/Second | |
---|---|---|
Minute | Off | Blinking |
![]() |
||
Hour | Blinking | Solid |

||
Day | Solid | Blinking |

Month | Solid | Solid |

To enter setting mode, press and hold the left button for 3 or more seconds. The light pattern will change and the Day/Hour and Minute/Second lights will show "minutes" setting mode.
Pressing the right button will increase the value being set. Pressing the left button will change to the next value. When you reach the maximum value, it will wrap around to 1.
As an example, here is how to set the date to November 29th 2:27pm:
Christmas Countdown is only capable of counting a maximum of 63 days, meaning that the earliest you can start counting is October 23rd. Because of this, you can only set the month to 10, 11, or 12.
